Our dream of moving to the beach for retirement was a long-held hope. We started the journey by casually going to open houses in the south bay. Through this process, we met Lesli Koontz. If the dream was to move, we can truly say, Lesli made the reality of buying and selling our home amazing. Lesli is knowledgeable in understanding the market, the sale and purchasing process, and how to keep the process moving forward.

Our purchase included her selflessly showing us so many houses. We would call and she would set up a walkthrough, often the next day. She provided her insight but did not try to lead us to a purchase. Early on she made it clear she was supporting us, not selling us a house. She wanted us to find the house that would be, “our happy place.” After many showings, we settled on a house in Huntington Beach.

Selecting a house is not the end of the story. The purchasing of a home is a complex and cumbersome process. Lesli was very professional with informing us along the way, making sure we were clear of the purchasing process and when needed, she was tenacious on our behalf.

We did not put our selling home up for sale until we were well into the final stages of the purchase. By this time we knew Lesli was a great agent and asked her to be the listing agent on our home sale. She went above and beyond to allow our home to be seen at its best. There were multiple listings, a 360-degree tour, and a website that you found by simply searching our address. She has a background in marketing and this was evident by the overwhelming response we had. The home was on the market four days before we accepted an offer. The neighbors described the tours as “a parade with people just waiting to see” This was a daily parade, each day receiving offers which Lesli would review with us and help us evaluate. The offer we settled on was well over the asking price and set the high mark for homes in the neighborhood. Lesli was equally professional and supportive in the selling process as well.

Buying our home and selling our home for a good price with little stress was due to Lesli’s ability and commitment to us as clients. Her kindness, care, and concern are evidence of her wonderful character and personality. She listened to our needs, made sure she understood us, and in the end was always concerned that we would be happy with the results and process. We are so fortunate to have met Lesli and would recommend her to anyone, without hesitation, and with enthusiasm!
