Perched above Malaga Cove and Lunada Bay, Monte Malaga offers some of the best views in the area. Homes are mainly Mediterranean, Spanish, or Italian in style and the large lot sizes allow for some of the largest homes in the area.

Locals often joke that Palos Verdes has its own weather system, and it’s quite true, especially for Monte Malaga residents. Here, the summers and winters are milder than what you find on the rest of The Hill or even the balance of the South Bay. Above all, residents experience less fog and what is known as "May Gray" and "June Gloom" compared to neighboring areas like Lunada Bay and the Hollywood Riviera.
